ebay buy it now problem

I tried to buy a zdp Caly jr on ebay, using the BIN option and payment with paypal. Unfortunately, I cannot complete the transaction, as it keeps hanging up on some sort of shopping cart page. (which seems a little redundant after I choose to pay without continuing to shop anyway) I tried to pay right from the listing, from the pay now button on the My ebay page, and from the link in the confirmation email, but they all lead to this same page which lets me advance no further. The vendor has a high score and percentage, and I can't lose any money since I can't seem to give it to him, but I don't know what will happen if I can't complete this transaction. I sent an email, received a reply with the same link to try again (which I did, knowing it wouldn't work anyway), and sent a reply saying that it still doesn't work. I sent another message through ebay yesterday, and still have not gotten a reply. I would like to cancel the transaction somehow, and was wondering if there is some way to do that without the seller, since I haven't gotten a reply in 2 days.

I've had occasional problems trying to pay through ebay as well, and a few of my buyers have occasionally reported problems to me.

Give the seller your paypal ID, auction number, and total and ask him to send you a paypal money request. If he refuses (one seller refused to bother for me), ask him a second and "last" time (mention that fact). Most sellers will jump on it and send you a paypal money request.

Forgot to mention... you can always pay by certified funds (or check possibly). I've had buyers think the process ends after a failed attempt to use paypal. That's not the case. Paypal is a convenience, but if it fails to work properly, you are still obgligated to go through with the purchase.

I'll ask about a paypal request. I'd rather not pay another way, as New Graham actually has the knife cheaper, and I only bought it through ebay because I have funds sitting in paypal. I'll see what happens once I get a reply to my emails.

You can always just go to PP directly and pay him. Just enter the auction info manually.
