ebay fraud listing

Well, I sent a message to the seller a few days ago, and haven't gotten a reply. ????

The ebay "business" that is going on now I know absolutly nothing about.

Any new news on this? Has Darrel Ralph responded or can any one offer some new information. :(

I made the knife and there is only one of them. Julie Warenski engraving. I have really enjoyed buying on ebay and have heard of this problem but never has it come quite so close to hand. I shall be more careful in the future.

Well.....Wednesday & Thursday have come and gone. I have sent 3 E-mails asking about shipment and trying to get some response. I have got nothing. Below is a link to the auction that I won (on a second chance offering since the high bidder couldn't pay---so I was told). I am still hoping that the seller will get with me and say that he has been in hospital/family emergency and make it all right. :footinmou

If something appears to be too good to be true, then it usually is. The seller of these knives would have to be desperate for cash to let them go for the amounts that I am seeing on these auctions. Either that, or he is a crook. looks to me like it is the later.

I agree totally. Although if you watched his last 4-5 auctions and took into consideration his 100% positive feedback....well who knows. I am waiting to hear from him and am giving him 1 more day to come clean. :yawn:

FYI, you may want to hookup with the Buyer (marcangel) of the knife LINKED below. Seems he's got a problem also. He claims he sent Paypal payment and got an empty, high dollar box. Check Feedback for your Seller, 2nd one down. It's misheaded as "Positive".

I immediately recognised the picture in the auction you mention in your last post as one taken by Bob Glassman of Custom Knife Gallery of Colorado. He still has the pic on his website but sold the knife to a buyer in the Republic of Georgia (ex USSR) about three months back. Marcangel has been scammed. and he has apparently been in touch with Bob.

This guy is bad news. Perhaps he also lifts pics from makers websites. The only thing that I can think of is to check ebay listing regularly for this kind of thing.

The Seller had, up to this point, 100% Positive feedback on 55 transactions. A couple of them were high dollar knife deals that seemingly went OK.
Just what in hell happened here? :confused:
 
I received the knife pictured in the auction from this seller. I do know that it appears that he also sold the same knife again to J-rod.

I had trouble contacting him, but he told me that his computer went down. I finally requested the contact info from Ebay and called him.

He told me that it would be shipped on Thursday and it was shipped on Thursday. I received the knife from Hawaii today. :D

I am sorry for the others having problems, but I personally don't have a complaint against the seller other than lack of response to my emails.

That truly sucks-The crap that some people do.The S.O.B. should be dragged out in the street and shot.I feel Bad for the guy that got Screwed Over
 
I just got this thread and Alex may have been a good customer when buying but as a seller he sucks, No direspect Mr. Ralph. He has around 5 grand it seems of other peoples money and some with empty boxes to show for it and others with not even that, such as myself. As others have stated the man had perfect feedback , at least when I bid and won my knife. That is gone now of course along with my knife which who knows if that even existed. As for the huge piece of BS email that was posted earlier from him about his computer being stolen along with everything else, wonder why then my MO went to his home address ,made out to Alex Tejada, along with the phone call that I placed to him last night (finally found his number, which is not even close at ebay and is unlisted) I asked him when is he going to ship my knife. He says Monday, I ask by what carrier and he says ups. I ask him why didn't he ship yet it has been 4 weeks since he recieved my money, I got mumblemumble computer down just got address CLICK and so I called back and got the CLICK again. Did I mention that I won on a Sunday night and he told me he was going to ship it to me the next morning because he was going on a trip and he didn't want me to wait till he got back...LOL I still get a chuckle out of that, anyway I mailed the MO priority mail to him in Hawaii from Jersey and he had it Tuesday ( 4 weeks ago remember ) and here I wait empty handed. I leave it to you all that that is my story. The others I won't speak for but...... His is coming really soon.....
 
Spufnik, did you pay by Postal money order? If so, contact a Postal Inspector and see about starting the ball rolling on having this guy charged with fraud.
 
O yes I did and Alex is going to get charged with a lot of stuff from all kinds of angles. Dishonesty is the worst trait that I can think of.....If anyone else knows of someone who got beat by this JO please feel free to contact me and thanks for letting me vent a little ....
