eBay???

Yeah, that's the trick on eBay: Patience. Part of that is determining the max the item really is worth to you and sticking to it. Sometimes the urge is so great to try to out-bid the other guy, regardless of what you've told yourself it's worth to you in your saner moments. (I.e.: Before you've started bidding ;).) In the heat of the auction, sometimes it's hard to stick to your guns.

I picked up a Powerlock on ebay, a sharpmaker on ebay, that's just for knives, however the genius i ordered the sharpmaker sent it to my cincinnati house even though i sent an email to him before i won and then one before i paid about how i need it sent to blah blah drive in discreet packaging and never got a reply ever, so instead of ruining his perfect feedback i just ignored him when he asked why i hadn't left any...I just picked up 50 feet of 550 paracord for 9.25 and that makes me happy. All in all everything has come as promised at 20-35$ off what i saw online for said toys.

if it was something i really wanted and couldnt find elsewhere (ie a custom emerson CQC6 for example) i will use ebay but i sure dont like to, way too many bad stories for me, i prefer to buy knives from the exchange on BF, seems like i know a lot of folks here and trust them also.

I am new to ~BF~ and if you could, Someone let me in on how to buy knives from the Forum. I have never sold a knife but I sure have bought a bunch. I bet there are some dandys in here! Any info would be COOL!!! ~baba~

I collect antique amerian autos ebay is great for this I recently picked up two schrade pull ball knives at reasonable prices:cool:

idont like e-bay to purchase a knife because there is a million adds with a lot of garbage knifes and lies in between also not a good description of the items which really u can't trust, i have made some purchases with no problems so far bur as far as custom knifes is a ?mark in the quality aspect and description, other than that i had no troubles in the item getting to me or anything else with e-bay it takes some filtering and time to find things and is problby as risky like anything else, becarefull with a few scams like reciving a phony check with more funds than requested and ask to send them the differnce by paypal, that check is a phony(check scams before using) other that that all worked ok.

I bought most of my knives from ebay and only once was disappointed. You get better prices, but you take a chance.
