EBayer double selling

Carl I know pictures make it easier but if you read the words they sound like very different kukris,

Tal, Help us out, best you post pictures of what you bid for & what you recieved recieved & clear this up.

Remembering I watched that auction that you won & congratulated you on the postage you got.

Thanks for seeing it from my side and making it clear to those that cannot see the truth.
I find it rather odd that NONE of the 4 knives which Thomas won from Patrick have the pictures attached. This doesn't exactly give me a lot of confidence that Thomas wasn't deliberately screwed over. Appreciate the non-answers to my question, which admittedly it is your right to do so. Good luck with this mess, Thomas.

The description of the two items in question certainly are entirely different, Spiral. Problem is, I can't tell which words are intended to match which khukuris. I know that the pictures look like. I printed them out. I know what the khukuris that I received look like.

And Spiral, do you recall that I posted, "In fairness to Mr. Read, he has a 99%+ feedback rating. He says that the problem is that I cannot remember that I bought and that there was a mistake about the pictures." I thnk that's about what he has now posted as "paddyrat."

Tell you what, I am just back from taking my Troop out camping. Tomorrow, one of the lads will photograph (The young being more technically adept.) all four khuks and, as well, the illustrations 11/28/03 and 12/12/03. (You can't see the 11/28 pictures because Mr. Read has removed them from eBay.) My Scout techie says he can send the pics to be via e-mail in just the right size for posting. I will then, with help from the members of the Cantina (I hope!), figure out how to post them. (And Beoram will finally have a picture of the inscription on the AC "Long Leaf" I bought.)

Hi Tal,
Sure I remember, I also sometimes buy kuks of paddyrat on ebay.
I bid on the one the won the week before that he sold.

I did not bid on the 4 you won the following week because they did not look high enough quality to me.

I know myself that whenever I have gone back to Paddtrats old kukri auctions the images are replaced with the currant images, Due to him using the same web address.

Several forum members would know this but understandably dont seem to wish to put there necks on the line.{why do I? I hate to see unfairness & injustice, If I thought Paddy had robbed you I would be standing right next you suggesting ways to deal with it.}

Check his past sales Every week Paddyrat sends lots of valuble merchandise all over the world. Do you realy think he would switch 2 kukris that you paid £50 plus each on! I would guess he was delighted to get £50 for them.

There is no way that either of the kukris you bid on were the 2 most recently sold.

I watched the sales, I collect kukris & in the past I have bought 3 of Paddyrat & will continue to have trust in him as a seller.

I did wonder about what your motive could be, but I know realise you have just been confused by the photo switch After the sale.I can see how that would happen, But I do know what you bought.

I hope my description of what I have witnessed makes this situation clearer.

Regards,
Spiral

CAN I MAKE THIS ANY CLEARER. THE PICTURES THAT 'THOMAS' ORIGINALLY SAW AND BIDDED ON ARE OF THE ITEMS HE RECEIVED. IT WAS ONLY AFTER THE SALE CLOSED AND I REPLACED THE SAID PICTURES WITH MY OTHER KUKRIS THAT THE PICTURES CHANGED AND CONFUSED THE SAID THOMAS. IT IS NOT MY FAULT THAT THOMAS IS GETTING CONFUSED ABOUT REALISING WHAT HE DID ACTUALLY ORIGINALLY BUY. SO PLEASE DONT MAKE ME OUT TO BE THE ONE AT FAULT. I HAVE SAID I WILL REFUND HIM FOR THE KUKRIS THAT HE BID ON AND NOW REALISES HE DOESNT WANT THEM

No it couldn't be much clearer. Thomas says he has the pictures and they are not of the knives he received. Pretty darn simple to me. looks like it's you that wants people to think Thomas made the mistake and that you are just an innocent seller that has done no wrong. Thanks, but I'll believe the guy with the pictures {b]and[/b] the knives.
