Ok it is almost forged out, i might have it done tonight :D I am having to do some hand forging as i want to get as much size out of this as possible. but its looking good.

Thanks for this opportunity JT. I'm still fairly new 'round these parts, but I believe I have the time requirement covered.

I've refrained from jumping in on most of these giveaways, but I'm running out of steel! :D

update time:

The bar is all done and ground, it looks very very nice. some one will be very happy. here are 2 pictures of in. it ended up being .125 thick by 1.4-1.47 wide by 13.75 long ( i think). i left the width as was forged because i did not want to wast material trying to make the sides perfectly straight. it might just give you the room you needed to make the knife you wanted. so i just left it at stock width and figured you can do with it as you please. there is enough to make 2 knives :D man a lot of work went into making this little bar of steel.
