Based on the need to cut drywall, I'm thinking something more like a griptilian. I'm not sure how comfortable a 940 would feel if you have to cut too much of that type of material. The mini-grip would certainly get fatiguing in a hand larger than a medium glove size I think. Drywall makes me want to recommend a spyderco just because the ergos are nicer and I feel like drywall can get a little rough on the hands with a smaller handle. I've always used a box cutter for such a task so I can use a thin blade and then just throw it away when it's too dull to use. A spyderco chaparal comes to mind specifically as it has the thinner blade to reduce drag from the drywall.
Then again, if it's only a small amount and not an entire projects worth, like an entire basement, then it's probably not a big deal to use whatever you have.
I consider the 940 a perfect "hard-use" gentleman's folder, in that it looks gorgeous but can withstand a fair amount of harder cutting tasks you may not normally use a gentleman's folder for. I also find it my favorite benchmade to flick lately and it's usually what I carry around the house as it's not a hindrance when laying on the couch or anywhere else in the house. It's never really in the way like larger knives can get. The only knife I've had that disappears better is a spyderco dragonfly (clips are a requirement for me so traditions and SAKs don't count).
