I currently carry a FRN PE Delica, a Seiko Quartz watch on SS bracelet, and no light.

I've been thinking about changing my knife to a small sebenza (reg or classic), changing my watch to either a G-Shock Atomic Solar or a Seiko mechanical diver on a NATO strap I'm fam w/Sekio divers and prefer hands and markers  have never owned a Casio but heard they were good, and thinking about getting either a photon microlight or a Surefire Executive. I'd like to hear opinions or reviews of the products I'm thinking about getting and how they are for EDC.

Also, I'm interested in knowing what some of the other forum members carry as a beater knife, flashlight, and what's on your wrist??

Thanks for the info :)

Fossil Blue (grey face, Chrono), Kershaw 2410 but now a Grip mini , and an ARC 4+ ( cost more than the watch ,both knives and all the other lights but well worth it) (used carry an Invoa X5) and an Inove micro light and a Freedom

My knives...CRK Mnandi and Victorinox Settler
My lights....Inova X1, X5, and Micro, and Arc AAA
My watches...Omega SMP and Casio Edifice. I'm seriously looking at a Seiko Black Monster for those times I don't want to wear the Omega. The Casio is a real beater.

Watch: Seiko Automatic (SKX-007K)
Knives: BM 551, and a Vic Ranger
Lights: Inova Microlight (on keys), and a SF L4 body (with a DB PRT-917 McGizmo Head).

:)

Get a Luminox watch and not a "glow in the dark watch", the glow in the dark will wear out in a few hour while Luminox can glow for up to 15 years strait never needing recharging ( i recommend Luminox

As for the light get a UK 4AA E-led light (its kindof big but it will last 10 hours at peak performance and then many hours at a lower performance)

EDC beater knife: Ritter Mk1 griptilian, or BM 750, or spyderco Native, or small Sebbie.

EDC beater watch: SMP, or Orange Monster, or Invicta submariner copy. I beat all of my watches, with the exception of a gold Rolex and Tissot dress watch.

EDC light: All I carry is an Inova X5, and a small photon light attached to my SAK.

edc is as follows:

*knife - emerson CQC8 specwar or a BM skirmish some too lately, also a spyderco delica SE i carry all the time.

*light - surefire E2D and a Arc AAA LED

*watch - rolex GMT master 2 SS black/burgundy bezel, sometimes a TAG pro but usually the rolex,

That depends on the watch, my watch glows all night I can still see it glowing in the morning, albeit feintly...

Knife: SAK mountaineer due to our stupid knife laws

Light: CMG Ultra and/ or Surefire 6P

Watch: Tag Kirium Quartz Stainless steel w/ blue face

Knife: Wenger Esquire (always); rotation of Massad Ayoob and Yojimbo (where able)
Watch: Tag Heuer Link
Light: PT Eclipse, CMG Infinity Ultra, and Surefire E2D

Featherstone: Would love to hear how the Infinity helped save your life!

Watch: Sieko Auto Diver on 2 ring Rhino strap. Omega SMP and 5 g-shocks tend to stay in the drawer nowadays. Could be famous last words but I reckon I've got the 1-watch issue sorted, wish I could say the same for knives.

Knife: Spyderco Military clipped to pocket or Spyderco Native in pocket. SAK Soldier and Leatherman Wave are never too far either. Currently trialling a Spyderco Manix as the new EDC, like it so far.

Light - Small single bulb LED in keyring. Prinecton Tech Aurora always close when travelling (it's around my neck at the moment as I've just been for a nightime stroll on the beach)

Watch - I don't bother, I'm surrounded by clocks everywhere.

Knife - CRK either sebenza or mnandi lately.

light - ARc AAA on keys, surefire L4 if after dark.

Watch: Seiko Black Monster
Knife: Leatherman Juice S2
Light: Photon Micro Light

Folding backup: P-38 on keychain

Watch: Titoni Sportster Automatic
Knife: Large Mayo TNT / Combat Elite RRF for work
Light: Surefire E2e-HA

WOW, I didnt realize you guys were into Quality LED flashlights. Lots of ARC's and Inovas Here.

I have a first love and that is flashlights.

I can recomend a great inexpensive EDC light. It's a Nuwai Quatum III it's about $35-$40 and runs off one cr123A batt and uses a Luxeon III LED for about 40-50 min of run time. there are several mods for it to make it adjustable and new LEDS and such.It is about the same size as an ARC 4+ but MUCH Cheaper and actually possible to get.

I also carry a Gerber Infinity ultra around my neck under my shirt.

All and all I normally have about 3-5 flashlights on me and have been carriyng 2 Knives with me most of the time.

So, what technically qualifies as a beater here? I'd consider anything that is EDC'ed to be a beater, because of it's job. In which case my beater would be:

Watch: Cheapo watch purchased for 16 Euros in Athens Flea Market. The name on it is "Vahepon Konstantin", it keeps accurate time for the most part and nothing else.

Knife: Camillus Cuda Maxx Bowie.

Flashlight: None, but I'm considering going for an Inova, maybe an XO, or really blowing the bank and getting a T3.
