I am a believer in carrying a stout knife. The Bugout is great. No complaints for "flimsiness".

It doesn't get much attention but I'm always promoting the Benchmade Foray. This is a great EDC knife, I can't say enough good things about this one.

Agreed. I own a 531 instead but the 535 Bugout really is the better knife of the two. There is a reason that Benchmade is selling all they can produce.

I just bought my first Benchmade a few days ago (551-1) and I love it so far. Can’t speak about the regular version but the g-10/ergonomics on mine is fantastic and for an extra $60ish you get 20cv steel instead of 154cm which is a decent upgrade and also a deep carry clip. I’m a ZT guy but I’m alreadg thinking about getting a mini grip too.

I have been edcing a Benchmade mini barrage for over a month and so far I am loving it. I got a very great deal so I upgraded it to s30v but I don't think it would be much lower in quality with the standard 154cm. Feels great in my hand and I prefer the blade profile to that of the griptillian I was looking to get before I chose the barrage.

I ended up with the delica, vg10 is still great steel, and the knife is completely unnoticeable in my pocket.

How do you protect your car door from scratches from the clip?

Good choice on the Delica, it's an amazing knife. I don't know about your car door? I carry my knives in my right pocket so I've never had that issue but even when I have something clipped in my left pocket, usually a flashlight or keybar I don't have any issue with scratches on my door?????
