Just looking for something classy and efficient. Thinking 3-3.5" blade (3.5"h would be a little big. Think something between the large and small griptilian from a size perspective.

One of my favorites is the ZT 0770 CF. It is the only ZT I own. I think the Falkniven folders are very classy.

This little guy is pretty classy. Don't know where it falls compared to the Griptillians as I don't own one. The blade edge rings in around 3.25". Pretty perfect size for EDC.

Does it have to be a folder? There are a few Swamp Rat Wardens in the exchange for under 100 right now. I carry an ESEE Izula every day, both great knives.

You might take a look at the Spyderco Slysz Bowie or possibly the ZT 0562cf. I just received the 0562 a few weeks ago and it is truly a great knife!!!! This is my very first Zero Tolerance product and so far, l am very impressed. Good luck W/ your future serch and give us some feed back once you've made your selection.

lionsteel tre in g-10 and it comes with a nice m390 blade, btw it is the less expensive version of the folder that won blade of the year in 2015.

Of course you can never go wrong with any ZT, Spyderco, Benchmade, CRK, etc. My most carried currently is the zt562cf. A little on the heavier side, but just feels right in the hand, and feels like a rock that can handle anything. But I'm still really impressed with the Kizer I posted above. And as others have said, some of the lighter zt's are also pretty amazing.....450, 808, 770cf, and even the 801 carries very nicely.

But "classy" is in the eye of the beholder. Only the op can determine. But in the $250 range there are more options than can be listed. Have fun shopping.
