EDC Blade with a $250 budget

Benchmade 940-1, you can pick it up off the exchange for 250 and under fairly often and if you end up not liking it, you can release it back into the exchange easily.

If you don't mind something on the heavier side, check out Reate Horizon C. They have one that's fully polished Ti and it looks super classy. I have a Sebenza in my pocket today or else I'd include a pic, but I often carry the Horizon... the flipping action is so smooth.

This little guy is pretty classy. Don't know where it falls compared to the Griptillians as I don't own one. The blade edge rings in around 3.25". Pretty perfect size for EDC.

What model is this? Looks nice.

That's a big big budget, you have crazy options. I say get 2 or more knives. I recommend a blue bone case mini copperlock ~$50, an olive wood stainless opinel ~$20, a s110v spyderco PM2 ~$175, or if you're crazy a CKF gratch ~$350. Kizer gemini, reate, maybe ZT, something like that. Buy second hand.

It's the Kizer Ki3452 titanium frame with g10 insert, s35vn blade, smooth ball bearing pivot. I had it on a pass around (just sent it to the next guy on the list today), but my kids fell in love with it too, so I'll probably be buying three of them in the near future.
