Recommendation? EDC folder

On a second note do you guys know of a small fixed blade like the CRKT Folts wharncliff that has better steel? I like the little thing but it’s like 5cr steel and gold an edge for about 3 hay bails worth of twine
David Mary did a run of river hawks. New River Knife Works New River Knife Works still has a few left I believe. I have abused mine without regard for it's feelings. It is an amazing work knife. 3" slight hawk bill. Easy in my top 5 knives of all time. It changed my attitude on short blades and thin blades and carrying a fixed blade.

I carried it every day except 2 for over a year.

Plus just the cool factor of the wharncliff or sheepsfoot I like as well. Also like you said I like the way they cut but that could just be the way I use it too
FYI there is a new FS on the exchange that has three 20CV in g10 Dekas at $90 apiece.

Bradford makes a large variety of fixed blade knives in premium steels. Here is a wharncliffe in M390 that would hold an great edge while still being stainless.

I do like the guardian 3 but never held one. I have an Esee Izula that sorta fits that bill tho. I think they’re meant to be used and abused so the thicker handles make sense.

I have been on a long search for the perfect EDC knife. Now I carry either a PM2 or Manix 2 so those are my recommendations within your price range and size range.

I'm starting to feel like a broken record...
What folder should I get? Southern Grind Spider Monkey. I'm looking for a new folder. Southern Grind Spider Monkey. Recommendations? Southern Grind Spider Monkey.

Southern Grind Spider Monkey.

I used to recommend the Hogue Ritter quite regularly, too - it's still a good option; I just don't think about it much since I don't have the full sized version anymore.

Are those alien looking things towards the back the screws? If so does it come with a bit or wrench?

They are the screws. I did not get the spanner bits with either of mine. I've also had no reason to disassemble either of them in the years I've owned them. They're probably a common and readily available size; but I haven't checked to confirm. (If I remember when I get up today, I'll check)

What can you guys tell me about the Giant Mouse Ace Biblio?
Well NVM it has ball bearings

Just wanted to thank you guys for the input. I wasn’t expecting this kind of response to what I’m sure is a beaten horse question
Truly thank you all
Even if it has been asked before, new models are always being released, and members are also acquiring new knives and experience with them. And as I Ikhnaton said, we like talking about our knives, we're closing in on 130,000 posts in the EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today? thread.

I always recommend the one I am currently selling 😇 but I do agree with several others that the Ritter Hogue is never a wrong choice, either mini or large, both cut exceedingly well.
G2

Wharncliffe, ~$200, made in the US, bronze washers - my preference would be a Spyderco Yojimbo.

EDIT: sorry - just saw your last post that you're looking for something more subtle.
