I normally rotate and carry these three, my Ti2 Carabiner/knuck along with my Khard backpack that has all the get home bag essentials (first aid kit, rain jacket, food, etc)

Keep my on-person EDC pretty simple.

- Hinderer XM18
- 1882-O Morgan silver dollar zombiefied
- Suunto Core Military watch
- Paracord cross necklace
- handcuff key (just in case) :)
- keys with emergency lighter
- wallet (not pictured)
- Samsung S6 smartphone (not pictured)

However, I always have my 5.11 Covert bag in my car and packed for the season I'm in. I use this bag to stay "grayman." Now that it's getting colder I'm adding in my thermal gear and other items to help keep me warm if needed, most notably my TAD Equilibrium jacket (love that thing). No matter the season I always have:

- BG TG
- Silky Gomboy saw
- TAD Raptor rain jacket
- Insulated Klean Kanteens with 40 oz water
- three days of food
- fire gear
- first aid

Hey URNL Ghandi, wouldn't it be a good idea to run at least one of those ss bottles without insulation. That way you can boil water to purify it. Just a thought

I'm more a fan of the sawyer filtration system for water. I keep the squeeze in the car and the sawyer mini in my backpack.

Not my every day, this was my Independence Day carry dump. :D Most days, my regular pocket load contains items from this pic. 1 or 2 less Hogs of Hope, a knife or 2 less, the Oeser Patriot Cattleman usually defers to my Oeser Zulu Shadow on non holidays.

I like simple.

Promethius beta qr flashlight, copper.
Sebenza large Gabon.

That's it.

My backpack, is another story.

Nice to see so many of you carry Hinderer items ED. For awhile I carried a MBC daily but swapped it out for Flashpoint(s). But I still do have Busse(kin) nearby most often.

You have food and water covered but you forgot something...air...put a chemical mask in there brother.

Who are you directing this question towards? :)
I was directing my comment to your post since I didn't know what all of the non-knife tools were, and were used for, etc. Are the piggy items bottle openers? Is the pry bar designed to pry something specific? I know, I must be EDC clueless. Thanks.

These are pre-filled at home before going anywhere. I have a Lifestraw in there to keep weight down if I need to filter any water. This pack is only meant to get me 20 miles max on foot if we get EMP'ed while I'm at the office and can't drive home. :) My survival pack is made to go the 150 miles I need to get to my rural land next to a 300 acre Amish farm out in Western MD. That one has all of my good gear. But that is a great idea. I have found though that the non-insulated ones and/or military canteens freeze in the winter and I'm SOL unless I stop and set a fire to heat them up.

You mean something like this? :) That's actually a really good idea. I think I will keep this in the car with me just in case. I wonder if I can convince my wife to keep hers in her winter car bag?
