EDC II Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

I handed my stuff to my sister so I could sit down for a 4 hour tattoo session without being in comfortable. She gave me a WTF how do you carry this much shit. I had my necker, ZT560, iPhone, wallet, truck/house keys, flashlight, work key card, 2 pens, a lighter, 500$ in 20's. I thought I was traveling lite

Then my addiction faded for a number of years. It's been rekindled in the past few months. I always loved folders. Especially big thick ones. I got a few makers in mind. Laconico was pretty much on the top of my list. Now comes a Peter R, or WilliamWoods, or another maker of similar quality/design. I want to mention Charlie Mike from his involvement in these threads, but it seems like he's fairly new. Saw the bali's he's posted and they are interesting but lacking finesse. I think i'm missing a couple of makers that would fit the bill here. But those are the ones I see posting all the time, and seem more involved and accessible to me.

Thanks for the mention. I get a lot of inspiration from Fred Perrin's work. Finess is not what I'm going for. Just brutally effective :)

Family tree.

Initials for each member close to me, dad, mom, brother(notice the E) Sister,Sister Son. A Byrd for each member with my brothers having antlers on it because he just kinda became family over the years.

Thank you sir. I've got an appt on Saturday to get the artwork for a black/grey KoiDragon with blue eyes to mark getting the legal custody for my son passed. It was a fight as a man in Cali.

I know ... I'm in Fresno.

My Dua assisted in unsticking some stubborn AK-47 mags at the range today. Scratches under the stop pin.

Hey man I can appreciate a lot of brutal effectiveness. I would probably rather that over anything else since even with customs, I tend to use what I buy. Though in my head it only goes so far. I appreciate finesse too. I recall the Perrin name. Think I might have seen a bali or two from him, back when I was into that scene. I haven't been active on bladeforums for a long time. I signed up in 2002, was active for about 2 years in the bali forums mostly. But i'm back now and looking mostly at folders and customs like that. Maybe larger blades, 3 1/2-4 1/2". Also trying to experience some of the newer steels like M390 I didn't hear about until recently.

Im working on a mega bali with CF handles!

These again. The XL Tanto is not practical by any means but it fits in the jeans pocket so it has to have some EDC time sometimes, right? ;)

Silverlight,

Welcome back. About similar situation here, was into Balisongs then off the forum and just recently came back, mostly normal folders now. No custom though .. ;)

I don't know man, but I've always found long blades more practical than small ones in urban carry.
It's amusing combo though :D
