Do you folks ever look at all these pictures and wish there were more people local to you with an interest in this stuff? I mean, I've dragged my friends and some of my family into the world of knives (my closest friend, brother-in-law, and dad all carry decent stuff and know their gear now), but it's like we're all sitting here, like-minded and friendly, but peppered all across the globe. Why can't everyone be into knives?!

I'm not sure I want EVERYONE to be into knives because some of these suckers are hard to get your hands on as it is now! I do wish more of my friends cared a little bit about knives. Maybe I need to find better friends! At least we can come here and congratulate or console each other over our addiction.

Good point! Yeah, I guess I just wish that I could have the same conversations in-person that have here on BFC. Or maybe have a chat about sharpening with someone that isn't just, "Hey, my knife is dull; can you sharpen it for me?"

I feel your pain. I have never met anyone in my area that is as into knives as i am. Whenever I'm lucky enough to meet someone who actually carries a knife, It's a frost or no-name POS And then i have to play along and pretend that it's a nice knife. Oh woe is me
