I´ve got my new SAK yesterday. A Wenger Soft Touch Evolution ST 17.814. Very sharp (bites me in my tongue, when i tried to lick chokolade cream of the blade. Just stupid )

Kind regards,

Andre

It was one of these when I went out for breakfast today - otherwise, it's been a hang out at home kind of day  You're welcome to take a guess at which one I carried or even proclaim which one you would have carried out of the bunch ;)

I would have gone with the VECP. Thank you for sending me spiraling into a catastrophic depression. I going to say you went with either the Hogue or the 0561.

I'm liking the 530 more and more. I can't even tell it's in my pocket (Weighs less than 2 ounces) I got the older version with 440c which is fine by me since i don't have very many knives in that steel. I do wish they would have gotten rid of the gimmicky false edge and gone with a drop point blade but i guess it would have taken away from the design and made it a bit heavier, this knife with a FFG drop point blade made out of m390 would be absolutely amazing.

Chris how come you take the thumbstuds off after you wave your knives? Do you find they get in the way of waving or something?

They used to be ziptied waved, but I hate the look :p
Since then I haven't really put back the studs. They get in the way cutting & sharpening:(

Besides, I can slowly open them using friction of finger pad vs the hole/wave, & being axis, fast open with flick is possible, and lastly, the wave itself. 3 ways to open without compromising cutting is good to go.

It sure is a pretty knife - that's for sure ;)
