These again today.

ZT 0551
and
Spyderco Sage 3

Deeply thinking about trying to trade the 0551 for a Spyderco Para2 M390.
I kind of want a Blue Crew.

But I really like my ZT and it's a great knife with awesome steel, a ti frame lock, etc. So probably not.

We're did u get those scales? If u don't mind and griptillian today for me

Those are Cuscadi Sculpted CF Micarta. The standoffs were optional, the scales come with a solid back spacer.
They completely transform a Griptilian.

BM Mini Dejavoo … wearing lounge shorts right now.

Lately my daytime EDC is a PM2 DigiCam w/DLC blade and a Boker Subcom burnt biscuit as a money clip. Sometimes a traditional slippie tossed in as the mood dictates ...

not a joke but i'm pretty sure that's a chinese knockoff. the stonewash looks off, the pocket clip looks stainless and the stabilizer looks wrong same with the screw, if i'm wrong then post a pic of the back of the handle with the knife open and it'll solve the whole thing and make me look like an idiot, but i suspect we wont get the picture as i asked, of that exact knife ..... i can accept being wrong but i'm going with my gut on this one.

Yeah, if that is not a joke that is an unqualified insult

I picked up my first Para 2 this past weekend also. Got tired of all the hype and had to check one out. I got the regular satin PE blade with black G10 scales. Mine's perfectly centered with no blade play either.
So far I'm really digging it. I used to think it'd be too big to EDC but after having the ZT0560 for a while now, my perspective is changing.

I picked up a Para 2 last week to see if it lived up to the hype, and I got to say I'm a bit disappointed.

I ripped open the box and checked the centering and blade play right away. I quickly realized that the blade was perfectly centered, absolutely no blade play, smooth as butter and great F&F. Needless to say I was a bit pissed off, I hate it when I receive a blade that is damn near perfect! LMAO

Seriously though, I'm VERY impressed! This blade hasnt left my side since I got it. Its so smooth already, I cant wait to get it broken in! Such a awesome blade for $100!! I now understand the hype. I really like the ergos and the choil to, I really just love everything about it.

Hey, troll; that was his knife to begin with. Do a little more lurking before you post and maybe you won't make such assumptions in the future.

By the way, how qualified are you to tell the difference? Didn't you just make a thread stating that you just ordered your first Strider?

I can 100% assure that is not a Chinese clone. I'm aware of all clones in the market and that is not one of them.

Source: the knife next to my 0561 is a clone.

inb4 long pointless debate

I'm not going to belabor this issue so I'll finish by saying I've had two of that exact model, I still have the SNG little brother of that model, Strider has had one of them in hand recently and wouldn't touch them if they weren't real Strider knives and those iterations were released BEFORE the clones hit the market which has been somewhat recently.

I suggest you ask rather than proclaim. You aren't qualified to make such comments, obviously.

Now many CC clones do you see out there and how many SNG clones do you see?

hey GIMP, like i said i could be wrong, i just handled one exactly the same 3 days ago that was a dead ringer for that same knife, extender screw finish and all, the previous ones were all black finish, and it was from a brand new upgraded batch from china i was told, i have been seeing a lot of them come around lately and they are amazing as to how close they are actually getting, so good i even saw a custom with the M. Strider sig that you couldn't tell from the real thing. (i'm trying to get one to post up cause its unbelievable) As for the thread about ordering my first Strider that is correct, but i have handled tonnes of them enough to know. i'm glad to know the posted knife isn't a ripoff and i'm happy to be wrong, i should have not made the assumption.
