Beryl, that carving its real nice! I wonder, do you have any pictures of the knife as it is now? I love to see knives that have been well used, scratched bolsters and all!

I got the DPX Hest/f 2.0 locally a month or two back. I bought my other Lionsteel, the silver Ti SR-1, from Gianni at the Blade Show Saturday - super knife(s)!

I handled a Adams it reminded me a lot of the sr. I say sell the abrams get a knife thats ergonomicly very similar with sleipner steel that is an improved d2 .

@stainz if you find the Ti on the sr a bit slick like i did there is a member on the forums who does bead blasting. It improved grip a lot

Well I just mangled the edge on my Military. I was trying to get a tire from my bush hog off of it's rim and, of course, it wouldn't come off so after awhile of getting frustrated, I just whipped out the Millie and started to cut it not thinking about the steel belt inside:o So now I get to spend a whole lotta quality time with it and the Edge Pro.

i ordered a 120 grit stone from edge pro. The stone wears fast, makes a mess(watch for scratches) but its so worth it when a problem arises like yours

I actually got that stone and it does work great but I hate the mess and I just cleaned my sharpening area like 4 hours ago. so now I get to dirty it all up again. At least I'll never make that mistake again.

Time to go get messy:thumbup:

Very nice Steel:thumbup: FFG manix's are pure sex.
Thanks man! I haven't gotten to put the FFG Manix into use yet, but I cant wait to shred some boxes at work tomorrow haha. I am also excited to try out the CTS-XHP. Sharpening it reminded me of sharpening CPM154.

@seelow

Dang sir. I hate getting serious dings. Thank goodness for low grit stones though haha. Love those dye jobs. Cant say that enough really.

Me too bro. I'm very grateful to have a sharpening system that can handle those tasks. If I didn't have the EP I'd be screwed. I really appreciate the kind words. it means a lot to me:thumbup: You should try dying that Echelon royal blue. That would be stellar.

Took my Opinel on a walk today. Worked on my block of whittling wood for a couple of minutes while hanging out with my friend.
