Taking the old Mosin out to shoot today...

^Great guns. Have fun!

Thanks! The Mosin is, IMHO, the best value in the firearms world. On the day everything goes wrong, that's one of the first things I'm grabbing.

Mine was made in the Tula factory in 1939. It's a little surreal to me, as being made when it was, it 100% saw combat. It's a little spooky if you think about it.

My Military is starting to get very rough and I can't fix it so until I can, The Para is back in my pocket.

Old pic. I will get a new one later.

My Postalperson just dropped off my mail, and in there was a new orange Kershaw Zing. And so, that is what I am carrying today.

Looks like an Avid, not a Select.

Thats possible Mr. Standard. But its marked "345", which I thought designed 420HC (Select). I have a thread about this in the Buck forum. I'm still trying to learn the Vantage language.

Edit: I was told by brother mjbannusch over in the Buck forum that Buck made a Select Dymondwood with a flat finish for Walmart. So it looks like mine is a Select. Plus, that "345" stamp seals the deal for me.
