Used the Ben Hogan to slice some sausage this morning. Here it is with one of only two pieces left after a tasty breakfast.

Cold Steel XL Voyager, plain edge, tanto point. Ontario Rat 1, plain edge, satin blade, black handles. Ontario Pardue Utilitac II, plain edge, satin blade...

The Cold Steel had its blade polished yesterday. I used simichrome polish and a lot of elbow grease; no chemicals...

Here's a better look at how the blade looks. The shiny part (toward the tip) is how the entire blade looks...

The Rat 1 has been highly used on several continents. I used a woodburning pen to make the handles grippier...

Better look at my four-minute job...

The Utilitac is great, but I didn't like the hump on the spine. I took a lot of it off...

Again, it looks closer to this in real life...

I used my knife like crazy yesterday and today. We went fishing and I had to whittle a bunch of rod holders out of not weed.
They made the perfect fish alarms too.

Then I was cutting shrink rap off of a bunch of pallets today.
