The black paint on the clip of my grey Delica was worn away quite a bit from riding in my pocket all the time.
At first it didn't bother me, but with more metal exposed than black paint it started to annoy me.
Stripped the paint for a great deal using sandpaper, then put the clip inside a box with stones and covered it with nail polish remover.
The remaining paint dissolved quickly and now I've got a mattish grey look. The black suited the knife very well, but all good things come to an end.
So now it's stonewashed. I'm somewhat unpleased with the result so I might redo the process during the next couple of days until I'm satisfied.
Heck I might even polish the clip eventually, who knows.
Anyway, this is how it's looking at the moment (while being in my pocket ofcourse).
