Giving my xm18 a break.

I forgot how much I love Strider.

I like that old Boker Barlow. Thats an earlier model isn't it?

Ya know, I'm not sure. The logo on the bolsters is different from some of the others that I've seen. It was part of my dad's collection and had a broken pen blade, so I sent it off to the knife doctor here in Tennessee and he shined it up, oiled it, sharpened it, and replaced the blade for me. I wish I'd thought to ask him if he knew about when it was made.

Hope you heal up quickly. I find that I can pretty easily flick out the blade on my large sebenza using my left middle finger (putting the finger nail on the thumb stud). If it doesn't open all the way I can use my left thumb against the blade to open it the rest of the way. For closing I use my index finger on the lock bar and let the blade fall, then I close it with my thumb.

Today's EDC: Caly 3

Thank you very much. It should. It's actually just my pointer finger. They had to glue the cut closed, and put a splint and wrap on it because if they just did the glue or stitches I would bend my finger and rip the glue or stitches out and keep reopening the wound. Thank you for the tips! I'll try that. My left hand is my weak hand, and I have finally gained most of the strength(I think) in my right side from a car wreck back in April(you can call me Danger Prone Jessie). I should be able to take this wrap off in a couple of days hopefully.

How do you like the Caly 3 by the way?

Anyways I am still carrying the same blades as this morning, just put new lanyards on them, got a new Grins Skull for the Sebenza. :D

Carrying the Gripitilian again. Put it on the Wicked Edge.. Those stones still have a lot of breaking in to do. No where close to a mirror edge.

Here is a diagram I have seen before to date them. Perhaps that will help. By the way, you have to click the image haha. Here is another link as well.
