EDC II Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

My bowie and axe today...was doing yardwork and had to poison a stump the previous owner didn't have mulched (probably get it mulched next spring). The axe I just put a new haft on, bought it for $6 from the previous owner who found it in an old collapsed barn he cleared.

I like it a lot, but I haven't carried it all that much. First because I used the edge for reference when learning to sharpen, then because I bought a small Sebenza :). It's really good though. I've been eyeing the Chaparral, but it feels a little redundant when I already have the Caly 3.

Today: Caly 3 again :)
 
Böker Turbine 2. This one was a limited edition 2 or 3 years ago, called the "Companion", LOVE this knife.
Along with that is the Victorinox Explorer and the ever-present Spyderco Bug.

I love the look of the turbine! The only think that is stopping me for buying it is it's $200 price tag, it doesn't seem worth it for what you get but I could be wrong.

Awesome looking blade!

Whenever I see a post of you and I scroll down, it takes me a split second te remind me of the fact that you have a gif file in your sig of that bug. The split second before I remind me of that fact, I want to punch my computer screen so bad. You always get me:D
It's an awkward feeling, but I'm happy when I'm able to quickly calm down and not hit the screen, lol.


OT: Got tired of carrying the Lightweight Manix 2 around, so I switched to my SRM 763 for some reason. Me likey
 
This little guy, today... You can tell it's pretty small because I obviously need a lense when I use it...

I think it' s definitely worth it. I don' t own a full-sized Turbine but this one is incredibly well made and currently also comes in a GITD version. The X-15 TN is a really nice steel in my experience with nearly equal edge retention to VG10 and a rust resistance that comes close to H-1. The only thing I don' t like about it is that the clip is quite close to the handle so you might have trouble putting it on thicker pants fabrics. The large Turbine has a different clip though.
And do note that the knife is not the best slicer out there with the spearpoint blade.
 
Been on vacation for a little while, since i flew, this is all i brought.. It has severed me very well, from cutting the end off my cigars, to fixing a window, cabinet door, and a bed frame, as well as playing in the woods.
