I guess today was a VG10 day...
I've always had an eye on a Boker Albatross. How is it? Any fit and finish issues?

Money well spent, looks like a 1970?, what is the # & size? I had to look at those scales again today, I wish Case would do that shade of red again.
Thanks,
Pete

Pete, your correct, 1970 is the year and the model is #62087, 3 3/8 closed and I totally agree with you in regards to CASE bringing that old red bone back---sent you a Visitors Message:thumbup:

Just got it about a week ago, the only real issue is that the ball detent is UBER strong. However I am very slowly smoothing the detent and almost have it to a perfect level of resistance. Can flip it out using the stud, but it about bruises my thumb doing so. Just put its first real edge on it since I got it, sharpened up pretty easy, now to see how long it holds.
Even though its kinda big and heavy, I expect that I will carry this and my new Starkey ridge a lot.

Pics tomorrow when I can get them.
My dynamic duo.
CRK Large Sebenza 21
Spyderco Techno

I love this pair, and the Techno is a wonderful knife. I love it a lot and am very pleased I got one. I picked it over the Strider SNG and the Small Sebenza Insingo. I'm truly glad I did.

My girlfriend bought me a new camera and I used this Thomas Turner penknife to open the packaging, only to find that the camera was faulty and needed to be returned (poor girl doesn't have much luck, she bought me a Dovo straight razor last Xmas and there was a chunk out of the edge!) :(

No pics, but I used a Queen gunstock to trim a few low branches off our xmas tree so I could see what I was doing while filling the base with water! Speaking of which, the blade got a little sappy... anyone have any recommendations for cleaning it? Soap doesn't faze it.

Also cored an apple for a morning snack.
