FBC - I'm really liking it. Just recently got it from a trade. It feels GREAT in the hand. It fits like a glove. I looked around for a long time when it came to heavy duty hard use knives, and just couldn't find the right one for me. The HEST is great. It's the right one. I really don't have a need for a super hard use knife.. but oh well. Lol. I plan to EDC this one for a while. It feels solid, good, has a good steel, looks good, and feels good in the pocket as well.

The only complaints I have about mine is it came with some horizontal play(still solid as a rock), which is normally something that bothers me, but this really doesn't bug me like it normally would. And one of the prongs on the skull tool used to adjust the pivot broke off while I was trying to find the perfect balance of no play and still smooth as glass.

Gonna see if I can pick up a tool here on the forums. Other than the play, the knife is perfect. It's a solid and well built. I'm really enjoying it.

Good to hear you like it so much.As for the blade play and broken tool , try contacting DPX . They seem like a cool bunch of folks. Good luck.Don't for get to use that bottle opener:D
 
now carrying my new indian river jack that showed up in the mail yesterday. few minor flaws but it came Sharp and I'm into it. up till now I've been carrying a case medium stockman for a couple of years. Would put a pic but I have no idea how to do that... URL? gimme the option to choose a file!
