ive neglected that almar for about a year now and figured i would break it in along with the szabo

I really like the looks of that Szabo.I couldn't justify carrying anything that big though.Nice pic.:thumbup:

Brand New Wilson Combat Star-Tac (Umnumzaan). So for...and I have only handled it this morning...it is beautiful. F&F is tops, locks up like a tank, opens a little differently than a "normal" knife with a stud but requires only more forward pressure...but smooth smooth. Rides in jeans well but with about an inch showing and of course the lanyard that come with it.
My fairly new Strider SnG DGG is still stiff to open...and I bet I have opened it a 1000 times. Is that knife just supposed to have some resistance as a design feature? I have tried to tweak the tension on the pivot and can turn only the allen head side to loosen, but even when it is loose...the resistance is still there and I get some blade play when open...so to tighten enough to eliminate the play, it is just stiffer than I expected.
I also recently got a Spyderco Sage 1 & 2...they are top notch. Love, love, love the 1 (and 2) ...cool and 1st CF handles. F&F is flawless on both.
