Thank you! I love brewing...I have a Belgian golden strong aging in bottles and tomorrow I will be bottling a vanilla porter :)

I hope your beers turn out well for your bday! Nothing quite like a pint of beer that you made yourself

I agree and thank you. I'll post some pictures of them with knives. Hoping the gf or someone gets me another knife for my bday. I was going to ask. What are some good brands of traditional folders you might recommend with high end steels?

Used this to cut open a few boxes of mail.

Benchmade 940 which I just bought used. Love this thing so much, I think I'm going to re-sell it and buy a brand new one.

Fenix E11, Leatherman Style, Duct tape wallet made by me.

Jack, that's a great looking knife box. I see you are using some 'dynamic tension' to hold the spacers in place ;)

Stich - Do you grow your own rabe? Its really tasty stuff. Your meal btw looked delicious.
I really should have taken some pics of my #53 last night. It helped prep my Malaysian curry.

This afternoon here in Mexico it was a windy 75 deg, dry and sunny day. A beautiful day to sit on the patio and whittle a little on a project that I hadn't finished completely yet. I spent the better part of an hour and a half rounding off the handle of my strop that I had made months ago. I put my new GEC #23 to work on this after I had sharpened and stropped my AGR lockback Barlow to a hair shaving edge. A nice break from the routine this afternoon. I hadn't really put the single blade trapper to work yet just carrying it and admiring it since I received it at the end of January. It carves on soft pine smoothly and is a joy in hand. I took a small foray into the sierra just a couple miles west to gather some mesquite to play around with and see how my newest handles the sticky tough wood that is mesquite a little later this week. A great day!

Sounds like a great day

Congress helped with daily routines, then broke down broccoli rabe, sliced garlic, and helped me devour my ribeye, this is for you Jack.

Thanks Pete. How the other half lives eh?! :D

Jack, that's a great looking knife box. Really sweet.

Thanks mate. I was lucky to get a good cigar box in the first place, and just the right size. I'll look out for one for you
