If SAKs are traditional, mine got a workout in the old quarry today pulling staples out of targets to keep best-group accuracy records. :)
I rarely cut anything with my old Grand Prix, but I'm always using the screwdrivers....
I could probably live just as happily with that knife if it didn't even have blades. Scissors, file & screwdrivers get used, blades almost never. :)

The wood is still green after you carve you set it in a vice and GENTLY tighten the vice and it opens it up just enough to squeeze it in there. After the wood drys it won't come back out.

That!...........my friend .......is sooooo cool! Please expound!

how to do?.....need to hone whittling skills.

Just love it!

never seen one of these before. Who makes it?

Rob Amsler

He just got this run going last week. He might have a few more available, I got the first one with a blue trit insert on the other side under the clip. Haven't gotten around to take a picture but it glows so brightly, he even polished the underside of the clip to give it more shine

It's really easy 1) decide what you want to carve.2) Get a piece of wood. 3) get yourself a good sharp knife. 4) Cut everything away that's NOT what you decided to carve.
Sorry couldn't help it that's what my grand dad told me when I was a kid, first time I ever got to repeat it lol.
Really just takes a little practice.

Paul - that marble in a cage is great! If you have the time or inclination, you should post it over in the Workshop section of the site - I guarantee there would be a ton of interest :)
