Used my Bladeforums 2011 knife, gifted to me by Duncan, to open a couple of early birthday cards and slice up the birthday cake my daughter made for me :)



It's not my birthday until Saturday, but my daughter Ellie, son-in-law Ricky, and grandaughter Lilah came over tonight to take me out for a meal. It's a restaurant I've been going to for years, and they dropped off a special cake my daughter had made for me before coming to pick me up. After we'd eaten, the guys all came out singing 'Happy Birthday' with the candles lit on the cake. Nothing like this has ever happened to me before, and for some reason I completely forgot about my birthday, and was wondering whose birthday it was! :D

We have a workshop section? I really need to explore the site a little more lol. Spend most of my time here in traditionals. A little on the manufacturers. I found the exchange a couple months ago and it was an expensive find, I think that's when I stopped looking around. Afraid of what I might find and what it would cost me LOL

He just got this run going last week. He might have a few more available, I got the first one with a blue trit insert on the other side under the clip. Haven't gotten around to take a picture but it glows so brightly, he even polished the underside of the clip to give it more shine

Cameron - How does that original Yojimbo carry? I've been lusting after one but didn't know how it would carry.
 
Love the carving Paul, I need to start back up.

Grilled chix, and asparagus, with EVOO and lemon dressing with some extra balsamic reduction.
