Great pic. Where did you get your Para 2 with the black hardware? A lot of sites are still shipping them with the silver screws. It is hard to know what you will get.

What is the seeming fascination with Spyderco knives? Never even held one, figured they were about the same as a Kershaw, CRKT, etc... Obviously not by the numbers of you folks that seem to like them so much..
Please, educate me....

You won't know until you hold them. They look funky at first glance because EVERYTHING about them is pure function. Barring a few models with more frills. Handles are often shaped differently than anyone else, and result in VERY ergonomic handles in a variety of positions, blades are shaped differently to accomodate the opening hole, as well as offer various cutting designs. And they wrote the book on constant innovation, which kinda forces many of us to go broke....

I haven't got a real Spyderco .. yet Navy k631 that mixes Military (straight spine, FFG), Endura (the edge curvature) and Cara2 (the handle) is the best fitting and user friendly handle I ever used!

Got a new pair of glasses today. They fit quite well with my Vantage pro. Two strong brands in one picture, I really like it. However, a knife with carbon fiber handle would fit better. I have yet to acquire one though...
