EDC II Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

This past week it's been a Kershaw Tension. Best 20 bucks I've spent. Was an impulse buy from my local big box outfitter store (exclusive to them). However, it's a tad heavy in Dockers. Clip is small and unobtrusive, rides low, nice folder. Comparable to the ZT 350 (which I do not own) I think, but not assisted.

Wow! So many Spydercos :D

My current EDC is the Cold Steel Mini Recon... I've really grown to love this knife, even more than the full-size cold steel folders. This one fits in the hand perfectly, and is perfectly sized for opening boxes, cutting rope or tape, and just everyday tasks.

I am a huge fan of Cold Steel folders because they're built like tanks and the triad-lock is amazing. This knife is also "public friendly" as it won't terrify Grandma when you need to use it.... The full-size folders tend to draw weird looks and stares if people see you using them. I know some people don't care about that sort of thing but whatever.

you ever try clipping it to your waistband at about 3 or 4 o clock? Belt and/or shirt hides the clip from view if you worry about that kind of thing (I don't). But more importantly, it doesn't really matter what type of pants you are wearing, it stays just as secure and feels the same for most cases. The only time I ever clip to a pocket any more is if I'm wearing jeans or heavy work pants/dickies, but even then I still usually clip to my waistband.

Today's knife is a Spyderco Persistence: 2.75" 8Cr13MoV blade, 3.3 oz., G10, milled stainless liners and 4-way clip. $33 shipped, and maybe my favorite in the Tenacious family. Its big enough (barely) for a 4-finger grip, and the blade length is all I need for EDC.

Tenacious lineup.

Resilience.

I bought a resilience about a month ago. Great knife for under $40. It would be a great knife for quite a bit more with better steel.

Today a CF William Henry EDC. Great knife. Tomorrow morning will probably the same knife. Tomorrow night, with any luck, it will be my first Sebenza.

Still working on replacing/rebuilding my collection and just added a Fallkniven folder, the PXL with maroon micarta scales. Also picked up a bigger Victorinox SAK, the Cybertool 34 with the sapphire (blue) handle scales. The leather sheath that the Cybertool fits inside of is a perfect fit inside the cell phone pocket of my fannypak. And the PXL, with the deep carry tip down pocket clip, is definitely a perfect fit for my right front pocket.

I've had this time for along time and kept it mint. If I remember correctly, I bought it from Les Robertson many years ago. Well made and possibly rare. Total length is about 8 inches. Anyone have a similar one or know much about it? Thanks.

I hope these photos show up. :-)

Thanks for looking.
