EDC II Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Today a CF William Henry EDC. Great knife. Tomorrow morning will probably the same knife. Tomorrow night, with any luck, it will be my first Sebenza.

FedEx did get my first Sebenza (Large Insingo) delivered on time and I carried the last few days. First impressions for me could not be more positive. Great knife, great blade shape (for me at least), superb fit and finish and very sharp right from CRK. Definitely will get another CRK it is just a question of whether I get one before the 25 comes in.....

It was a bank holiday today in England, so I went out walking for the day with friends. Took a real feast of picnic stuff out, and both my #66 Jack and Case Sodbuster helped with serving it up.

Here the 66 cuts up some pittas ;)

View from the picnic table - The Strid, where the waters of the mighty River Wharfe are forced into a rock channel just a few feet wide.

Edit - I was looking for a link about The Strid, and was surprised to find it featured on this Shlock Horror site - http://www.cracked.com/article_19705_the-5-most-spectacular-landscapes-earth-that-murder-you.html - as one of the Top 5 Most Spectacular Lanscapes On Earth (That Murder You)!

This is incredible! Don't get to close to the edge, my friend

Very satisfying Rob. Hope you have a bountiful harvest :)

No, I definitely don't fancy Death By Strid!

Few more pics

The River Wharfe as it flows towards The Strid.

Water flowing into The Strid.

The Strid at its narrowest point.

From the other side.

Pic taken last September when the river was higher (as you can see, shortly before, the water was right up the bank - in fact it had been WAY up the bank).

Thanks Jack. It was good stuff.
There was 1 line in the article about The Strid that jumped out, "...100% mortality rate...".
