I look forward to seeing your pics. Enjoy your day off :)

My Case Sodbuster cut up an apple and opened a couple of blister packs and my mail. I'd been looking forward to having some asparagus for the first time this year, but the stuff I bought in the market was in a disgusting condition when I got it home :(

Thanks G! I really like the feel of the handle now and it allows three different grips now that are quite secure; forward using the locking ring as an index finger rest, middle using all four finger grooves and a back/rear grip using the end of the handle. I plan on taking it out on some trail walks to test out it's chopping capabilities... :D

Interesting, I might do a similar mod one day... However, I'd advise against chopping with that 12. I've made the same mistake.
What happened with mine, was that the locking ring got pushed inside the wood (that had also cracked a bit), which created up and down play because the locking ring wouldn't just pivot on the wood of the handle, it was being pressed inside. I now have used wood glue to close the gaps that the locking ring made in the wood. There's no more play now, and the lock is secure again for normal use. I sure won't use it again to chop with.

I've got one day off. We call it "Vatertag" in Germany.

Just one glass of a good whisky, a good cigar,...

...my trusty dog Nuca...

...and my Spyderco Paramilitary 2.

Have a nice day.

My Al Mar Ultralight is what I usually carry, but I try to rotate through my pile of knives depending on the situation.

Not much really. Used the peanut to cut the top flaps off a Samuel Adams summer sampler case, so we would know which beers are in the fridge.
