Lol, he sure has done that many times hasn't he? Got a lot of handy chefs on this thread!

My jack got a real workout this weekend with all of the garden planting that took place. Looking forward to seeing how this year's crop comes along. Got quite a few new additions to the garden that I have not previously tried. I might end up putting a few recipes of my own up if they do.

When out in public (and not in the classroom...where I can't carry anything), I used to carry a Kershaw Volt II.

That was until Saturday. On Saturday, I traded an AR15 trigger (Chip McCormack) to a guy for a Strider SMF NSN model.

I don't know if he really knew what he had. Heck...I didn't even know what he had until I joined here and dug up some info on it. He was very thrilled with his new trigger and I was very happy with the trade. Now, I'm REALLY happy with the trade.

I've only carried it a couple days, but I really like this knife.

Other than some wear from EDC...it's in really great shape. now that I know I can send it to Strider for a tune up, I think I'll spend the $ and send it back for that service.

the fact I can't carry unless it's completely "open" here in CA is the only thing keeping me from buying nice knives like that.

Also some food prep for me today... I was out for a walk with my wife this afternoon and I cut some apples and some kiwis for a snack with the Svörd Peasant. The patina is almost performing nicely.

Weather wasn´t that big deal, though... but that´s ok so far.

Love this thread.

I have been using my opinel a TON at work. Though I am a painter I also do building and basically anything you can think of. I have never used a knife so much. I love it.

I know some folks think of opinels as disposable but not me. What makes a knife special to me is how much use and pleasure I get out of it. The opinel functions like a dream.
