Today, I broke my only "rule" about knives. All along, I've said no blades over 3.5". I felt guilty buying it though, so I overcompensated by buying a Dragonfly to go along with it :)

This as my on person EDC. Ontario Utilitac II.

These two as my back ups/loaners. Zero Tolerance 0350 and Sanrenmu 913P.

Damn that ZT puts hard use to the test!
Some people say batoning wood with a folder is hard on it. My 0350 and Utilitac II giggle at batoning just wood.

Picture thread: My cheapest knife and my first knock off. It's my house knife and I'm disappointed I like it so much actually (Ganzo G704-Y).

My most expensive, but it's currently a few feet away since I'm about to dice a steak with it. It's my camping/outdoors EDC! (Fallen Oak Forge "Spartan")

the tips gone!! :o
I don't even have a ZT and it's your loaner!!

To be honest with you, it's nice to see one with some scars.
How'd ya break the tip?
I've batonned through adhesive concrete, cut nails, pulled nails, notched door frames, cut solid 12 gauge copper wire, batonned wood, cut stainless steel braided hose, and a bundle of other things with no damage (just daily sharpening). The tip fell victim to a few foot fall onto concrete when someone else knocked it off a saw horse. I didn't even check it after I found it on the ground since all the other stuff never hurt it.

I plan to fix it up. Soon it will be going in for blade replacement, and I'm going to have some new grips made since the old ones are warped from pounding on the pommel with a hammer. I'm thinking either blue G10 grips with a black blade and all stainless hardware, or Cerakote tan on the blade and some tan and brown G10 grips.

Either way it's getting retired as I find my OKC to be tough enough for my use at an incredibly good price. I just can't decide if I want to make it a casual pocket queen (blue) or a SHTF vest (tan) queen.
