Some people say batoning wood with a folder is hard on it. My 0350 and Utilitac II giggle at batoning just wood.Damn that ZT puts hard use to the test!
GASP
I've batonned through adhesive concrete, cut nails, pulled nails, notched door frames, cut solid 12 gauge copper wire, batonned wood, cut stainless steel braided hose, and a bundle of other things with no damage (just daily sharpening). The tip fell victim to a few foot fall onto concrete when someone else knocked it off a saw horse. I didn't even check it after I found it on the ground since all the other stuff never hurt it.GASP
the tips gone!!
I don't even have a ZT and it's your loaner!!
To be honest with you, it's nice to see one with some scars.
How'd ya break the tip?
