I got you, bro :D The Knockout's in my pocket today, as well.

How do you like that knife? I really, really like the looks of it, and the ergos seem pretty on point. Doing a quick check, the prices seem reasonable also. May have to add one of these to the rotation.

I have nothing bad to say about this knife! Honestly, you won't regret it. The blade shape can handle pretty much any task you throw at it, and the aluminum scales make this knife so light you barely notice it in your pocket. I'm really pleased with how solid the sub-frame lock is, and the 4-way deep carry clip is just the icing on the cake for me. Although the handles are a little slick, I don't see that as a problem. The ergos and finger choil keep your hand where it needs to be.

If you're considering pulling the trigger, I say go for it. Bang for the buck is Kershaw's specialty, and this knife is definitely worth the price :D

p.s.
Dave (kershawguy) sells blem models for even cheaper. You might want to try one of those. They don't have factory warranty but are still perfectly functional and there's the advantage of getting a feel for the knife without paying full price. Just my 2 cents. Hope this helps, Quiet!

I really like that Mini Thorn, and I also have a Bionic on order. Hopefully it will come soon. :)

I used it to split some kindling off a log, and it holds an edge wonderfully. I have big hands (3 finger grip) but it is nice to use with a lanyard. Great little EDC fixed blade.
I think I may attempt making another set of scales for it.

The Bionic is definitely one of my favorite folders. Took a while to break in but it is awesome.

Such an awesome knife. I got a 1635 tanto blade for a good friend of mine. His blade snapped and since it's discontinued, Kershaw can't hook him up. He was beyond stoked when it came in the mail :D

Can you throw up another pic or 2? I'm not too familiar with the gray model
