EDC III Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Actually, the cocobolo totally does it for me... looks like a 'real knife' but not too tacticool... would you say it's a good knife for someone who's comfortable carrying a full size Grip or CQC-7 (while wishing the latter had a regular drop point not the chisel grind Tanto that it does?)

I was going to get custom Micarta scales for my Grip to class it up a little but now I'm reconsidering.

I think so. Here are a couple more pics, one in hand ( I have large to xl hands) and another showing the thickness of the handle. Fills the hand nicely.

Oh, and I am carrying this one today...

I can not believe I waited so long to get one of these. I love it. Can't wait to see how the edge holds.

Enjoying the newest addition to the collection :D I'm pleasantly surprised with the performance of this little guy.

It's really like buying a sports car and running it fast or an offroad vehicle and going mudding. He bought a hard use knife and he used it hard. It's pretty simple to understand. Well, unless of course you're just being disingenous which is a whole 'nother ballgame and carried with it an implied disapproval. I'm really starting to wonder about the proper tool people, what is the deal with that? Are the "proper tool" people the last word on what tools or techniques are to be used? Maybe we should make a "proper tool committee" so we can make laws against improper tool use.
YES!!
Dont buy big, beefy, badass knives made for a nuclear apocalypse, just to cut mail and steaks.
Use the hell out of them.
Maybe a Delica or a Case Peanut isnt made for everything, but Zt's, Hinderers, and Black-Class Benchmades can handle ALOT more.
Im getting tired of people telling other people how to use their knives.

You guys got me in the mood. Haha.
Got my Delica now, but my Adamas is coming in for a ride.

My bank account hates you.

I think that ELC is going to end up in my pocket, it's just a matter of when.

If they reproduce, we want to see baby pictures! :p

Which brings us back to the question: what do you feed baby knives?

My guess would be steel shavings, with a pinch of charcoal, for a healthy and balanced diet....

Haha I'll get you a cigar so we can celebrate!

And that diet seems perfect, though I would supplement it with tiny scraps of cardboard :D

Spyderco Cat: this Powernoodle Top 10 EDC knife sports a 2.4" 440C stainless blade, deep carry wire clip and G10 scales. Around $39 online, though by some fluke of nature I got this one for $7.60 shipped on Amazon. Depending on the production run, you'll see some with jimping and some without, as well as different variants of the wire clip design.

Thanks guys, I wish Buck wouldn't have stopped making the Mayo collaborations. The TNT is fantastic, cuts like a laser and has superb fit and finish.

I'm still looking at that Wilson Combat ELC... not seeing much more info out there than what's on Wilson's site and one NFP video review.

Dumb question: that is an *un*assisted knife, correct?

Curtiss F3 compact fresh from his shop today............if anyone wants one, let us know.....we have a few extras;)
