EDC III Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Great knife. I recently had my bathrooms redone so I've been opening and flattening lots of boxes. The blade held up excellent, and after a few months it is on it's way to be resharpened at my local knife store.

A few days back a posted a "stock" photo of a Case CF Sodbuster I'd bought. It came in today and it is lovely. Thought I'd post an actual pic. My photography pails in comparison to the rest of ya'lls!

I started carrying the Case CF Sodbuster along with my Case I keep on my keychain for package opening and emergency zombie shanking.

Here's a shot of my former EDC's (will still carry them occasionally) and newest edition. :)

Case Sodbuster: I've had it the longest. I found this hiding in the Case display at a hardware store I worked at in high school. I had a few Case knives then but I had no idea that the Sodbuster Jr. had a big brother. Fell in love with the size (huge hands) and bought it that day. Stopped carrying it for Kershaw liner locks for a while.

Case Trapper: I had been carrying tactical style liner lockds and decided I wanted to go back to a Case knife. I also wanted to go multi-blade; I hated the feel of the large stockman so I went with the trapper. I've carried a single blade for so long its still a bit weird to me. I like it a lot though and if I carry a multi-blade this is the knife I go with.

Case CF Sodbuster: Like I said, I like larger knives due to my hands and I was carrying lighter more modern knives. I wear khakis at work and wanted to go easier on the pocket without going smaller in size. I thought this knife would fit the bill and I was right. It is a perfect example of modern spin on a traditional knife.

I grab this knife off my dresser and toss it in my pocket out of reflex these days. It's hard not to love this little ritter grip.

BC, that is an awesome scale on the Zing
I see your Zing and I raise you two!

Thanks, I have seen much praise on the tanto zing recently, I figured I would throw out some love for the other one. That's a mighty fine looking pair you have there.

Why thank you sir! Its a great little knife. Unfortunately I did not try one until after it was discontinued. I have five now, favorite is the 1735TGRNCKT. That is tanto, green handle and black blade for those of you not familiar with Kershaw lingo ;)

I need to pick up a another black blade tanto and frankenzing the orange one

do both of those in the picture have the plastic scales? or did they make a run in G10?
I'm really liking the G10 scales on my Zing, they are a bit thicker (by design) and give it a more high end feel, just wondering if all the stock scales were the same.

The green Zing is G10, the others are glass filled nylon. This knife changed my opinion of glass filled nylon, nice grip on the Zings. First choice would be G10 mind you but I would not walk away from a knife with glass filled nylon.
