Got my second one in. This one has a stonewashed blade with a heat striped pattern on the handle. Pretty sweet.



 
How in the world are you getting these Carson Lab knives?
I've read that they don't ship out of China at all.

I just went to the website and used the contact link. From there on out I was in contact with a gentleman who was extremely helpful with my requests and shipped the knives to me.

Anyways, what steel did you get on it and what was the general price range? It looks like a hidden treasure of the knife world.
 
From what I was told, Carson is strictly using Nitrobe 77 as their blade steel right now. On paper it's pretty remarkable stuff. As far as price, they're not cheap. For the two I bought, I spent a bit under two grand including shipping.
