How do you like it?

Once it gets broken in and all the grittiness is gone it's a really good flipper. It's such a good size, very ergonomic and I really like the blade shape. The flipper is pointy but you get used to the way it opens and it doesn't seem so bad now. I've had this one apart and cleaned 3 times and it is perfect. I have another from later in the production that came nearly perfect out of the tube.

Thanks! I may pick one up in the future.

I will say the satin finish on the D2 picks up scratches rather easily. Mine is a user and has all kinds of little scratches but they don't show in that picture. When I preordered my pair, the stonewash finish was not an option yet. I just pre ordered the mini division flipper and that one will be stonewashed. You won't regret the Bionic. It is a great little blade.

How do you like it so far?

Straight up, I'm a fan. I didn't know much about Todd Rexford when I first got the knife, but I did a little reading and saw some interviews. Young dude who designs good knives. This one feels great in-hand, and I really like the weight of this thing. I didn't expect a knife that looks this classy to have such heft, but I'm glad it does. Makes it feel more substantial when I'm cutting. The full flat grind helps, too. And as far as the backspacer, uniquely-machined thumbstuds and decorative pivot, well that's just the icing on the cake. I can honestly say this guy does not look like a $30 knife.

Enough rambling haha. What are your impressions?

They really did an awesome job with this one. I did not know much about Todd Rexford either, but I'm glad i gave the Injection a try. I love the little details that you mentioned, thumbstud, pivot, backspacer. It feels amazing in the hand and cuts really nicely. It does not feel or look like a $30 knife at all. Definitely one of my favorite Kershaws :)

That's what always keeps me away from the Hest.

I have an ESEE 3 inbound that I think will serve me well.

The ESEE 3 is, in my experience, a much better knife than the HEST. I've got an old RAT 3 (D2 from the Ontario days) and a newer ESEE 3, both have served me very well and I'll pick them over the HEST without hesitation. I think I'll just cut off the prybar thingy.

Oh man, and did I mention the liners? Seriously, in relation to it's size and design, the Injection has one of the beefiest liner locks I've used. It locks up rock solid. I have total confidence in it.

I know i love them! Its probably my favorite liner lock because of the size of the liners. And i love the solid lock up!

I'm giving this Kershaw a try though :)
