God I love that Curtiss F3! And the Omega is gorgeous as well... Two fine choices. I personally feel the F3 is the best flipper around, quite surprised it isn't more popular. Not to downplay the Hinderer but I'd take a Curtiss over it anyday!

Thanks

I agree. I have a 3" xm and the 4" f3. Don't get me wrong. The xm is a great knife but the curtiss is a great knife and a great flipper.
It is not more popular because Dave can't produce as many as we crazy guys would like to buy. As soon as there are 3,5" versions are available i'll score a second one immediately.
Best

Ive got a new Curtiss f3 3.5" with bronzeanodized hardware, opened two cardboardboxes and Only carried it a few Times.
Mine doesnt flip really great, i need some wristaction to flip it open.
So it just sits in My Pelican Case and never get used, really a shame :(

All I heard in case of problems Dave is a great guy to deal with guarantees. Did You contact him on your problem?

Introduced the 0801 to my silicon carbide friends today. Damn thing wouldn't cut thin plastic packaging before. It's mean now.

What stones are you using? I like the stock ones for common steels, but they struggle with some of my harder steeled blades
