Day started with my EDC kit (work in progress) producing extended dog leash from paracord so that my dog has more space to move while I am at work (though most time he moves freely).

I carry a little kit as well

Is it just lighting or does the end of the handle scale look a lighter, almost blueish color? If so that looks sick with the SW blade.

How is paracord as shoelace? It's not slippery (opens by itself)?

I use paracord as my boot laces too, at first I tied them but I did have some slippage so now I use a cord lock.

Another advantage is I always have cordage on me, if needed I could strip out one strand to keep my boots tied and still have a couple pieces of 500# cord to use in emergencies.
