Nice pair! I really like the Chokwe! I like how much straight edge there is and I like the thumb ramp. If I ever get one I'm serously going to see about adding a P'Kal style wave to it by driving a small hole in the spine behind the hole and making a rod to fit.

I used to have to cut that same style of foam.
And whenever I did, the marker came off on the blade, so I never used my personal knives.
Does the ink not get on your knife?

It's not permanent like a tattoo for Pete's sake, use rubbing alcohol and no more worries. ;)

It's just a Sharpie, but none of it came off on the blade. I don't think it did at least....

... nope :D

I swear the Ti looks like I dragged it through gravel (hence the homemade fade ano & stonewash), but the blade shows nothing:thumbup:.

This one, a Kershaw Kuro. I've pried and cut and stuck it in some pretty tough places and the serrated edge and tanto point come out the winner.

That's a super cool idea, but I think it would prove to be a challenge. Might as well try though!

Cool combo! I imagine the Chokwe is a wicked slicer.

It really is. I am super glad I got it. Had been on the fence for over a year.

If anybody knows someone who makes custom ti scales please shoot me a pm with info.

Hey! This was a while ago! :)
I thought Sharpie was permanent on everything, and thus always wondered why people used it to guide sharpening.
