They have either case's mystery SS or CV. I only have experience of CV, wich is carbon steel. They are pretty much equal to victorinox ss steel, but sharpen lot easier. For small knife like this, steel is not so big deal. Slipjoint and no lock is no big deal as long as you just pay attention. People have done it that way for hundreds of years.

Okey cool ! :)
Well, i have some customs coming in a few months, plus a Jake Hoback Midtech, and if im lucky, a Todd Begg Field Grade coming. So i think ill have to wait for the Swayback Jack. :)
But thanks very much for the info !

Ouch, right in the plums! LOL

Haha! We Texans pull no punches!

P.S. Perhaps I inherited some of your attitude after reading that Dietz feedback thread :p

Thanks much! I keep going back to it for some odd reason.

It's a cold day here in Texas is it not?

It's an awesome knife, man! I definitely love it. And yes, we're in the 40s down here, with a lot of clouds and rain. How is it in your neck of the woods?

And to keep on topic:

I really should give credit where credit is due.
Leatherman Skeletool is always in my pocket
along with Surfire E1b,Titanium pen from Countycomm.
Thumbdrive and Pepper Spray.
Blades change daily.
Yojimbo2.

Carry what you trust your life on.
the rest is just nice to have.

EDIT
For Cereal_killer.

Where did you get the bolt face sticker/decal? I'm gonna get that tattoo'd on me one day.

Finally getting some work done in the new shop (we moved 2 months ago now), got the start of the aux electrical system put in, it takes a lot of power to weld/run all my equipment.

I'm excited for what you have planned, buddy

And is that the NJJ pass-around knife? Looks like the one I signed up for, that's why I ask...

Yep, had it two days and love it, I'm already on his list for the next run but with a few little tweaks. He's a very cool guy to work with and the price is amazing for what you get.

Man, you just made me even more anxious to try that little sucker out! Good luck!
