EDC III Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

The same could be said about the Ray Laconico just above, it's just two slabs of Ti and a piece of steel... In either case your paying for more than the cost of material and a little labor, your paying for the name.

Couldn't you say the same thing about the Sebenza?

Sure, not arguing with you there, the difference between a hand made custom and a mid-tech/production is the increased cost of overhead/labor but yes, even with the increased production costs of a company vs one guy making knives by hand your still paying extra for the high-end name on the side.

I agree, but there is a reason he has a high-end name. :)

Beau-tiful!
I Maybe Will buy One of these, but the Field grade.
Depends if the person Will sell or not.
And if its Worth the money, i mean. Its a slab of Ti and the rest is G10.
But i dont Know where the value in the knife lies? Do you ? :)
Not saying anything, just wondering.
Are you asking if my knife is worth the money or the field grade Bodega. Personally I think prices are getting out of control, my Bodega is from the first 60 made its logo is different than the newer ones and only 10 had this carbon fiber inlay. I think I paid a fair price for mine and doubt I would every sell it, its quality is the best fit and finish is perfect its my grail knife and I carry and use it everyday. The field grade Bodegas are made different than mine and I have never handled one so I can't comment on them there is enough reviews on YouTube about them, so you should be able to decide from them.

How are you liking that G10 Dragonfly? It's a cool little knife, used to have one and regret selling it.
I'd also like to know. I've been so close to buying one so many times it's crazy. I know I like the feel. I've handled it a lot and I absolutely love G10.
Have you done any heavy cutting with it yet?

Surprisingly, it's one of the most comfortable knives I've ever handled. I prefer medium to large sized folders, so I didn't expect such a small knife to feel this natural. I really like the snappy action on it, as well. Must be the fact that it's a lockback.

^^^ Nice Paul, I like the brown micarta scale!

Thanks Erik, I see your Copper influence has affected a few---I see a Maratac aaa Copper purchase inspired by yours and I was pushed to the Kabar Coppersmith Barlow by you showing that fine one you sport.

I'd talk royalties with a couple of companies if I were you :p

Hey, warm weather is coming our way

I would wholeheartedly recommend it. Especially considering that you've handled it previously.

It hasn't seen heavy use. It opened the package that my ZT came in, and opened a few envelopes, but then again this is my second day carrying it. I'm looking forward to putting this little blade through it's paces. The solid construction and ergos definitely make this a winner for me.
