950 Rift just recently became my EDC. I think on Monday. Already been reprofiled to 18 degrees with a 19.5 degree microbevel. Loving the reverse tanto design.

I used the Edge Pro Apex 4 kit.

Factory edges are rarely symmetrical so I started with the 120 grit stone to reprofile the edges. Worked my way up to 1000 stone, then 2000 and 3000 polishing tape. I'd estimate a total of approximately 8000 strokes. Is that normal to get a clean mirror edge or do I need better technique?

I went with 16 degrees per side. Edge Pro recommends 20 degrees on these kinds of knives but lots of people in forums said they do 15.

It's still not perfect, there's lots of micro scratches that I can't seem to get out.

Yeah, it's a Custom Clicky 200.
The O rings make it a lot more comfortable to hold in with your teeth, when needed.
