EDC III Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

A friend basicly built the rat from scratch. Same shape, but has framelock, guycarta scale and orange g10 liner. Only the blade is the original rat part. Didn't use the original liners, scales, or clip

I used to carry a CQC-8. I had an impulse buy on a Super CQC-8 yesterday and I feel like I've been reunited with an old best friend.

Is it stainless or Ti? Do you think the lock side could go on an otherwise stock rat?

One more ?... Is there metal inside the clip at all?

Here's mine, I got it about 2 months before they came out (they got released last July, I got mine late last spring, Trevor gave it to me to beta for them). EDC'd it almost every day since, it looks a little rough but has never even skipped a single mode, nor has the QT2L-X on my rifle ever gave me a problem threw ~3k rounds, these things are freakin unbreakable. Other than customs (high-end and my DIY stuff) I won't buy any new turn-key lights other than foursevens/olight/eagletac (separate but the same), they have such a wide product line they've got everything anyone could need and more and are just as reliable as surefire and the warranty is better for us civi's (surefire's LEO/first responder/mlli CS is untouchable).



You like your's so far? I love 'em, just traded a custom build of mine for an older 47's (before the rebrand) XP-G quark123x2 turbo to have as another backup truck light.

I like it, but I don't carry it much. It is a very nice light, though!

The one I posted is the only one still in stock. The black ones are gone.

No metal in clip. It probably would go on stock rat, but if going that far, might as well go all the way. It has no blade play or lock rock. The lock side is ss, ano'd. added some weight, but the fit/feel of the rat. I put pics in album on my profile. If you want info, pm me.
