Hahaha true that, Erik! And I love the look of that Maratac! That's what it is, right? The flashlight? It looks better now than it did when brand new!

Thanks Andy, this trio seems to be a mainstay as of late. Of the three items shown it's the Maratac aaa flashlight that's used more than any. I do believe the world is getting darker, certainly can't be my eyes:D

Welcome to the forums hillsideamino. FYI if you're looking for a flashlight in that size (AAA battery) there are several brands that are very similar. Besides this Maratac, iTP makes a very similar model called the A3 EOS. Google them for specs but my understanding is now the latest generation Maratac puts out 138 lumens and the iTP 96 lumens. There are multiple versions/generations of each of these so if you do decide to get one make sure you're getting the latest version which will have the best output, runtimes, etc.
 
Carried my sharpest knife today. FM Custom fixed blade with sweet bolsters and awesome Titanium hardware. Over 1/4 inch thick cutting goodness!
