The Hold Out 2 is probably my favorite knife at the moment. It's the best slicer i have period. Beats my Contego and Para 2 at slicing and has sturdier lock than both.
Since i have took the serrations off this one haven't had to sharpen it either and been using Alot! Have stabbed it into an old door about 20 times and sliced on a bunch of hard material and the Aus 8 holds a great edge.It's been a month and alot of use and no need for sharpening. No rolled edge either. Have had that problem with S30V just from cutting cardboard. Just bought Hold Out 1 & 3 also and another 2. Absolutely love this knife. Cut up some pigs ears with ease for a couple of weiner dogs in the truck today and a pic of frozen bacon cut through like butter with Hold Out also. At the price there at now it's an unbelievable value.
