Emersons have never really spoken to me, but this is practically screaming. I would love to know more about it.

I bought it from a member here. It started out as a 2001 CQC-7, and was customized by Reese Weiland by converting it into a Ti framelock with the CQC-6 boattail handles. The blade has also been given a hollow grind with a convex tip, had the tanto rounded, and a more pronounced swedge.

They are not shiny but I love mine - solid, I have none of the problems Emersons have once in a wild... I'm sure you'll be happy, I'm happy with their CS too...
