Hey buddy, it's the 1635TCKTST

Kershaw Mini-Cyclone (tanto version with combo edge and DLC blade)

One of my favorite designs :thumbup:

Ken Onion made some real winners while working for KAI, and this is no exception. What's really awesome is that you can basically flip a switch and turn the Speedsafe off.

Wow that's an awesome idea, I wish Kershaw would do that with more of their knives, at least the more expensive ones. No de assisting and I would think that if the torsion bar ever broke it affect the smoothness in manual mode so hopefully the switch might help remedy that. I'd much rather have that than a stupid safety!

Yeah, I really like what Kershaw did with this one. Too bad it's been discontinued for a bit :(
 
Not my usual carry, but I've been re-discovering traditionals lately and I received this a couple of weeks ago. Decided to give it a go today, along with a custom sheath I had made for my small clipless knives. Cut up my sammich and quartered an apple with it today and I didn't notice any wide-eyed looks.

Got my FrankenManix together today, I have a strong feeling it will not be leaving my pocket for a loooong time.
